The Essentials of Project Management online professional development course was created to meet the high-level needs of Payroll and HR professionals being asked to take on a project management role. The course provides individuals the foundational project management concepts in a hands-on manner. Attending the Essentials of Project Management program will enable students to learn foundational project management knowledge while putting key concepts and skills into practice through a payroll-focused case study application. The primary focus of the program is to teach practical project management skills that use the payroll best practices and process framework.
Seminars are offered in 2 consecutive half-days of 4 hours, either from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (depending on the time indicated under the start date: e.g. 1:00 p.m. and end: 5:00 p.m.).

Throughout the course, students will learn how to define a project, how to select the right individuals and skillsets to ensure the project’s success, the importance of proper planning of all related resources and how to execute the change management required to implement the results of the project. Please note a cancellation fee or transfer fee in the amount of $50 plus applicable taxes will be applied.
