As a mandatory requirement for all employees, completing an accurate Record of Employment (ROE) is a key function of every payroll professional in helping your organization avoid risk and run smoothly.
This online seminar will examine the Employment Insurance (EI) and Quebec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP) programs along with the ROE form. You’ll also receive a comprehensive overview of the employer’s responsibilities, reporting requirements, tips for avoiding common and costly mistakes, complete block-by-block instructions and will see how the processes and solutions discussed in the seminar apply to real-life ROE case examples.

- Defining the roles and responsibilities between the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Service Canada in terms of employment insurance
- Defining Employment Insurance and Insurable Hours and Earnings
- The completion of the Record of Employment (Including block-by-block walk through of the ROE)
- How to avoid common errors
- Amending the ROE; and
- Other reporting requirements
Attendees will receive a binder with exercises and examples, a ROE Checklist, and test your knowledge quizzes.

Please note a cancellation fee or transfer fee in the amount of $50 plus applicable taxes will be applied.
