The Government and Legislative Affairs team of the National Payroll Institute works with members, government representatives and other stakeholders to increase the efficiency of payroll-related regulatory requirements for the benefit of employers, employees and governments. There are several committees which focus on specific needs. Read on to learn more about the individual committees
The purpose of the FGRC is to increase the efficiency of payroll-related regulatory requirements for the benefit of employers, employees and the federal government. The FGRC provides recommendations for the federal government to reduce bureaucratic red tape and improve Institute members' experience.
The committee also identifies payroll and employment trends and ensures they are considered by the federal government, so that federal government policies do not create an undue administrative burden for our members.
The purpose of the QGRC is to increase the efficiency of payroll-related regulatory requirements for the benefit of employers, employees and the Quebec government. To manage the exceptional challenges faced by payroll professionals in Quebec who have to remit to both the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec (RQ), this committee shares its expertise to reduce bureaucratic red tape and improve Institute members' experience.
The QGRC also identifies payroll and employment trends and ensures they are considered by the Quebec government, so that government policies do not create an undue administrative burden for our members.
The purpose of the PGRC is to increase the efficiency of payroll-related regulatory requirements for the benefit of employers, employees and the provincial and territorial governments. The PGRC shares its expertise with these governments to reduce bureaucratic red tape and improve Institute members' experience.
