National Payroll Institute Congratulates New Federal Ministers and Recommends Continued Focus on ePayroll Initiative

The National Payroll Institute sent its congratulations on the appointment of various Ministers to departments of the federal government whose policies may impact payroll. The letter shared the Institute’s recommendation that the government continue to advance the ePayroll, or Real Time Employment Data, project. Attached is the letter sent to the Minister of Finance and National Revenue, The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, which was accompanied by the Institute’s latest ePayroll Brief, available on our website in the Priority Issues section of the Advocacy page. Similar personalized letters were sent to Minister of Artifical Intelligence Evan Solomon, Minister of Government Transformation Joël Lightbound, Minister of Jobs and Families Patty Hajdu, Secretary of State responsible for Labour John Zerucelli, and Secretary of State Wayne Long.
