In a termination situation you have to know what to do, step-by-step to minimize termination liability and comply with legislation. At the same time, the whole process has to be handled with great care. This one-day seminar will equip you with the knowledge and tools to successfully administer, supervise and oversee a termination of employment – taking into consideration employment/labour standards, human resources issues, types of payments, retiring allowances and the Record of Employment.
Your National Payroll Institute instructor will take you through a comprehensive review of recommended steps, processes and procedures to minimize termination liability and costs, as well as the legislative requirements for payments upon termination.
