Named in Honour of Pat Glithero, PLP

Pat Glithero, PLP, committed her lifetime to helping others navigate the complex payroll compliance requirements that come with over 200 pieces of legislation. An entire generation of payroll professionals knew that when you didn't know where to find specific information or best practices, you could always "Ask Pat."  

Pat first joined the National Payroll Institute as a member in 1987 and began volunteering in 1992. In 2000, she was elected to the Board of Directors, serving as Chair for the 2005-2006 term. 

In December 2007, she became a staff member and was instrumental in developing and enhancing the designation programs. She retired in 2017. However, even in retirement, she continued to facilitate the Institute's professional development sessions and consult on the content of the designation programs. 

Pat passed away in late 2022 but left an indelible legacy that will live on through the students she inspired and the profession she helped shape.
