Designed specifically for organizations covered by the Canada Labour Code (CLC), this webinar provides an introduction and overview of legislation and regulations governing organizations covered by the CLC, Part III, such as banks, railways, and telecommunications.
Given the many aspects of the CLC, getting a handle on legislation and regulations can be challenging.
This webinar is NOT suitable for organizations governed by provincial labour/employment standards legislation.

How to access your session:
Three business days before the live event, you will be sent information on how to access your webinar. If you do not receive the login information three days before the webinar, check your email SPAM folder. If it's not there, please contact membership@payroll.ca as soon as possible.
- Determine the difference between the Canada Labour Code and Employment and Labour Standards
- Understand the scope and coverage of legislation
- Identify obligations payroll professionals must execute under the CLC
- Outline various concepts of the CLC, including: hours of work, statutory holidays, paid and unpaid leaves, vacation, termination, pay statements, etc.
