To ensure PLP designation holders have the information and knowledge needed to flourish, completing three core courses and two transfer credit courses is required:
CORE COURSES
MANDATORY TRANSFER CREDIT
Organizational Behaviour: Transfer your post-secondary course covering individual and group behaviour, personality, motivation and leadership theory, communication and conflict resolution.
Note: It is highly recommended that students complete this transfer credit course before starting the three core courses.
ONE ELECTIVE TRANSFER CREDIT – STUDENTS MAY CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING COURSES
Courses offered online are based on a 13-week schedule (estimated 3-5 hours per week) which includes the final exam. Note: An additional one-week pre-designation module has been included at the start of Foundations of Payroll Leadership. This serves as an orientation for the PLP designation program.
Courses offered through most public post-secondary institutions are based on a 14-week timeframe (estimated 3-5 hours per week), which includes the final exam.
A minimum grade of 65% for each course is required to earn a designation.
